Bill Webster's Profile

Music is in Bill's blood as his father, Bill Webster Sen. was a well known and respected entertainer both sides of the border. He moved to the Highlands of Scotland for his love of Photography and the Scottish scenery and having settled here, carved out a new musical career for himself.

Billy's own career has spanned over three decades. Like his buddy in Jigsaw, Bill sang and played along to all the great artists and bands of the 60's and 70's.

Eventually a Band had to be formed and they enjoyed much success playing in all the village dance halls covering the vast area of the North of Scotland.

Bill then played with the resident band at the Strathpeffer Spa Pavilion one of the major venues in the Highlands which attracted all the big named artists of the time.

These great universally known musicians were to influence the young guitarist/singer Bill Webster and was to shape a very diverse and experienced career.

The mid 70s saw a shift in the music scene from Village Dance halls to Social Clubs and Hotels which required a different approach. This was easily achieved, resulting in his musical career being further enhanced by playing in these venues for Club Dances, Dinner Dances and countless Weddings.
